Essay Sample

The essay below is a contextual analysis of the Subaru car commercial titled, "Baby Driver".  I chose to include this essay because of what learned from writing it.  I learned the difference between a textual analysis and a contextual analysis; a textual analysis examines the content of the product, while a contextual analysis explores the time and surrounding in which it was produced.  While revising this essay I altered some of the paragraphs to expand upon the typical five paragraph essay style I previously stuck to, as well as tried to develop more concrete analytical sentences.
